Our Sex & The Titty podcast was initiated and designed by Margo Cornish MBE, Patron of Prevent Breast Cancer and Board Member of Maggie’s Manchester in response to her interaction with women living with cancer in the course of her campaign work. Women who turned to each other for help and support in the absence of any (in their opinion) current practical and user friendly practices and platforms.
Margo is joined by Kyle Evans and Jamie Griffiths, the founders of Golden Cat Studios to produce for this trailblazing podcast. With 50 years of radio production experience between them, they’ve also been responsible for a number of podcast series over the past ten years, and they continue to make programmes for the BBC.
Each episode is hosted by popular Radio presenter Jo Lloyd and features clinical experts in each area together with people whom have all affected by breast cancer, although the subject will also resonate with anyone living with cancer.
Current professional advice/protocols on women diagnosed with breast cancer doesn’t quite hit the spot.
Why do any people find it difficult to discuss?
When exactly is the right time?
What steps can be taken to improve the professional dialogue around intimacy during treatment?
